Problem Solved:

The human interface for automated systems must simplify operator tasks and automate processes such that cognitive workload is reduced, situational awareness is enhanced, and situational control is preserved.  Conventional operator interfaces display 2D videos or images on separate screens, providing little integration of information, no high-level scene comprehension and weak situational awareness.
